Our 17th Season of Warmth runs October 1st through January 10th!
If you would like to shop at stores or online for the kind of pairs that we purchase with your financial donations and grants, you will find that Target and Sierra Outfitters offer great options.
Another option is to choose pairs that you’ll find on Amazon.
Our 17-year total is now greater than 375,000 new pairs!
That’s more than one-quarter million pairs of hands that you have warmed!!
How to Make a Good Donation:
Not sure what makes a good donation? Watch our short video, A Hands-On Guide for Choosing Mittens. Quality matters more than quantity — here's what to look for:
Good donations:
- Warm and insulated
- Durable — built to last
- Snug fit, seals out cold
- Wool, fleece, or lined knit/sewn
Avoid:
- Thin, stretchy "one size fits all" gloves
- Slow-drying when wet
- Worn or stretched-out pairs
Doesn't need to be expensive — just warm and durable.
You can mail them to our MAILING address (this is not our office location):

Please explore this map to find out where you can drop off your new, warm, durable mittens and gloves.
The map is updated throughout the season, so be sure to check often. Zoom in on the map, click on a red heart, and check the address in the column to the left of the map. We welcome donations and new store-bought and handmade pairs of mittens and gloves throughout the year.
